All clear after "suspicious" package closes city roads

Parts of Salisbury city centre were cordoned off by police after a suspicious package was discovered at the Post Office.

Castle Street and many of the surrounding roads including Salt Lane were closed for around one hour at lunchtime today.

Bomb disposal experts and police attended the scene to deal with what they described as a "suspicious incident"

The roads have now re-opened.
